The Penistone Line is the railway line between Barnsley and Huddersfield. The railway stations along this route provide useful access points to explore the pretty surrounding area. The Denby Dale Walkers have created a number of routes around these stations (see Penistone Line Partnership). There are also some other official routes (created by other walking groups) that are accessible from these stations (e.g. Holme Valley Boundary Walk). This Venture is to complete these routes.
