Ventures - Lake District Hills Explorer

The Lake District has over a 1,000  Humps, Sumps, Simms, Hewitts., Marilyn, Synges...the categories goes on and on (the Hill Bagging website has a good page describing the definitions of these categories). There are also  Wainwrights too of course.   This Venture is to summit these Humps, Sumps....etc.

The peaks have been (will be) grouped into regions that reflect Wainwright's regional pictorial guides. The following additional regions have also been included:

• ConWin Corridor - the area bounded by Coniston Water, Lake Windermere, the River Crake and the River Leven

• South Eastern - the area to the east of Lake Windermere and bounded by Ambleside to Kendal in the north
